• 9.30-12.30       AI and Analytics in Business

What is AI and Analytics? Why is it relevant to business? Hear from Brookes researchers and invited guests, to understand how AI and advanced analytics can be used to address real-world problems, support business decision making and create new opportunities for products and services. Speakers include Dr Zeeshan Ali of Brookes' Business School's Analytics, Information Systems and Operations (AISO) Group, Graham Caleb of Delti AI, and AI entrepreneur, David Pool. After the morning break, the Business School's Dr Rachael Wang will talk about the importance of good visualisation when using business analytics, followed by the School's Dr Paul Jackson and Blenheim Palace's Tawhid Shahroir. Paul and Tawhid will discuss data and AI at Blenheim and how technologies, such as PowerBI, are being used to support better decision-making across the estate. The session will conclude with a talk by Dr Alex Rast from the School of Computing - about data, chocolate and other surprise topics.
